Oh man. You got me started on time travel. I want to go to the 60s, the 40s, and the 20s the most. I'd also like to check out some of the 50s, 70s and 80s. Oh and I'd go to Medieval, Colonial and revolutionary times, ancient Rome, the old west. I'm just infatuated with history I guess. Time travel is something I would do in a heart beat. I would love to experience life as a hippie, a gangster, a WWII soldier or whatever. Srsly. I think about it all the time. As for bringing a companion. That'd be cool, but I donno who I'd bring. Probably Jack Harkness.

So I haven't been watching the news or even The Daily Show lately so I know NOTHING about current events. I wasn't really bothered by that until today when I finally read some news. Iranian elections. Before today I saw some stuff on Twitter about Iran and something somewhere about Twitter and Iran elections but I had nooo idea what was going on and I really didn't seek out the info until I read inactivism's post about it. Someone PLEASE explain to me why this shit is happening? I mean I know WHY but...ugh. I hate what human kind has become. It sickens me to no end. And the worst part? Hardly anyone even pays attention to that shit..or even hears anything about it. People are DYING because they're speaking out against INJUSTICE and it's the kind of thing that pisses me off. I know that not in my wildest dreams have I ever experienced anything like the Iranians are right now, but I do have a slight idea. I wish EVERYONE could experience the anguish one feels when their voices are silenced, when they are stripped of their very basic human rights.

Proposition 8 is an initiative state constitutional amendment on the 2008 California General Election ballot, titled Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry.[1][2] If passed, the proposition would "change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California."[3] A new section would be added stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."[3]
